Rita's U.S.A. experience 1964 - 1968

“Ed Sullivan booked me five times for his world famous homonymous show, exactly between 1964 and 1968, working together with Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Anka, Van Johnson, Joan Sutherland etc, something unique for an Italian pop singer.
Therefore my” William Morris Agency” wanted me to stay in America for ever but, unfortunately, at that time, I was still minor of age and mommy and daddy jumped to the brilliant idea to bring me home in Italy instead….What a pity!!!
