“ There’s a great misunderstanding going on ever since I performed, in my early days, the role of Gian Burrasca in an Italian television serial. In life, believe it or not, I have nothing to do with this young guy, although I’m still grateful to him, who gave me such an incredible popularity in 1964. On the contrary, I am a rather reserved and quite woman, who likes staying at home, looking at television or quietly reading a book for hours and hours.
We’ve got only just one thing in common: the same sincerity and the same impulsiveness, which, however, made me often loose some big opportunities in my artistic life.”
