Shakespeare in Verona

“At the beginning, during the rehearsal, I was a little scared to get into the difficult role of Maria, a kind of a naughty girl who invented all possible tricks to make fun of “Malvolio “, another personage of the comedy. But soon, all my worries disappeared with the help of the director Franco Branciaroli and also thanks to the generosity and precious collaboration of some of the other actors, with the result that, in the course of the opening night, I transmitted my personal “ amusement” to the public and viceversa and everything turned out all right at the end. Just think of that, the former “ teen-age” Rita now playing Shakespeare!!!”
